Wouldn't it be a different world if, like John Lennon suggested, we all rethought our current strategy on world harmony (i.e. masculinised military solutions based on hate, aggression and fear) and attempted to solve the worlds problems through logic, fairness and sensible negotiation. Just imagine how advanced we would really be if every, or at least most, human beings on the planet worked as one, to benefit the whole ?
All the time we spend squabbling amongst ourselves has robbed us of so much energy and advancement.
If we had been constructively pursuing our future in the name of "real" evolution, we could of possibly attained:
1. Cheap, pollution free, safe energy resources that could be available for all.
2. The notion that, thinking as one and focusing as "a species" we could all be telepathic by now and command a vast mastery of psychic powers.
3. Our real destiny, that of the exploration and discovery of our universe.
4. The advanced ability to deal successfully with life's challenges through the power of unity.
5. Eternal peace, love and harmony.
Unfortunately we have become the mere shadow of our true potential, but do know what?
